Welcome to my little corner of the internet.
A few things about me to get you started:
I'm the happily married wife of Dave, and we're really good at getting pregnant. So far I'm mama to two little boys and one sweet girl, scheduled to debut circa Christmas 2013. Joey was born September 2010, John Paul was born April 2012, and they are both crazy. And very cute.
I do, in fact, need coffee. Every morning. Now that we've lived in Rome, I've switched to espresso, and I don't think I'll ever look back.
I am a Catholic 're-vert.' I was raised Catholic and never physically left the Church, but during college my heart was far away, and I got my party on, hard.
Bl. John Paul II was - and continues to be - instrumental in my conversion.
I studied psychology at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and theology and counseling at Franciscan University of Steubenville. You might say I have a broad-reaching educational background. Also, keg stands.
I am sarcastic, political, opinionated, honest, and a little bit of an over-sharer. But aren't all we bloggers, just a bit?
I love to drink, especially an extra bitter IPA or a fat pinot noir. I take the illustrious GK Chesterton to heart at his declaration that 'in Catholicism, the pipe, the pint, and the Cross can all fit together.' Amen.
I'm a freelance writer and editor, and I run a pro-life news site called Heroic News. On any given day, I change a lot of diapers, and I drink a lot of Pellegrino.
Hold on to your butts.
